I don't wanna feel it anymore I don't wanna feel it anymore Sometimes I lie awake at night Toss and turn as shadows move through light Come down and follow me Through spaces endlessly

Nobody said that it'd be easy Nobody said that you can't go home Nobody said that it'd be easy For you to walk this road alone I've tried and failed so many times The road is rough and full of holes I didn't think it could take more from you Than what was taken long ago I hold on just to see the raindrops fall Looking down, the gravity calling slowly I tumble and sink to the floor Twisting and turning The wind tears at my mind Brick by brick I'm crumbling cracking laid low and broken by the stormy night Nobody said that it'd be easy Nobody said that you can't go home Nobody said that it'd be easy For you to walk this road alone The storm has passed The rain starts to slow Glistening tears yet full hope I will not let my past define me My story's long and barely told I hold on just to see the raindrops fall The clouds have lifted the rain is gone Sunlight points my way back home Eyes open, I'll face this one on my own I know it won't be easy but I am going home

Time It goes right by so fast Right past me As I, I grow a bit older (much older) Life It goes right by so fast Right past me As I, I learn to be much stronger (I wonder) Wake up I see the sun It shines so brightly Upon my window Get up its time to stand up Live my life and to grow up Like the vines on the window

about

The last year has been really hard for me. Throughout 2021 I experienced some health problems that caused me to isolate myself in my room and waste away. At some point, there was a turning point where I just got tired of feeling terrible and decided that I was going to put in the effort to make the steps to start to get better. I'm still not perfect but no one ever is so might as well keep working on getting better.

Thank you to Ethan H. for helping me with lyrics on Rain.
