about

I wrote this track just as quarantine started. It was as if each day was the longest day of my life, but each week passed in the blink of an eye. I wasn't unhappy, but I missed how it used to be.

Lethe is the personification of oblivion and forgetfulness. She represents how time was warped and how easy it is to forget what it was like to go outside and be around people.

lyrics

Days fly by,
And I’m left to wonder where I’m supposed to be,
Out here on my own again.
You were,
Meant to be the light that shines through the darkness,
But I’m on my own again.

Days fly by,
And I’m left to wonder where I’m supposed to be,
Out here on my own again.
You were,
Meant to be the light that shines through the darkness,
But I’m on my own again.

But I,
I really don’t mind at all,
Cause I’m happier than before.
